CUERO ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION OPENS 2024 GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION AND INTRODUCES VOC/TECH SCHOLARSHIP

CUERO, TX — January 19, 2024 — The Cuero ISD Education Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024 General Scholarship Application, available online at cueroedfoundation.org. This application is open to both 2024 Cuero High School (CHS) graduating seniors and CHS alumni, offering a single gateway to over 20 scholarship opportunities.


Applicants can review application requirements and explore the diverse range of scholarships on the “How We Help” page of the Cuero ISD Education Foundation website. The Foundation is committed to simplifying the application process and providing a comprehensive platform for students to pursue various academic fields.


In response to identified needs, the Foundation proudly introduces the Cuero ISD Education Foundation VoTech Scholarship. This scholarship addresses the unique requirements of students pursuing vocational and/or technical education through community college certification programs and trade schools. Eligible pursuits include associate's degrees, industry certifications, or state licenses at accredited institutions in Texas.


To be eligible for the VoTech Scholarship, applicants must express the intention to pursue a trade or vocational degree/certification at an accredited Texas community college or nonprofit trade school. The Foundation's Board of Directors is dedicated to supporting students on this educational path, recognizing the significance of vocational and technical training in today's workforce.


"The Cuero ISD Education Foundation is honored to introduce the VoTech Scholarship and expand our support to students pursuing trade and vocational education. We believe in the transformative power of education and are committed to making higher education accessible for all Cuero High School students," said Sean Douglas, Executive Director.


The application deadline for all scholarships, including the VoTech Scholarship, is March 1. The Foundation encourages eligible individuals to seize this opportunity to turn their educational aspirations into reality.
