Celebrating Excellence: Announcing the 2024 Frederick W. Fischer "Helping Hands" Cuero Alumni Scholarship Recipients

At Cuero ISD Education Foundation, we believe in fostering the dreams and ambitions of our students, ensuring they have the support they need to reach their full potential. This year, we are proud to announce the Cuero alumni recipients of the prestigious Frederick W. Fischer "Helping Hands" Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year. Each of these exemplary students will receive a $10,000 scholarship to aid their educational journey.


The "Helping Hands" scholarship honors the legacy of Frederick W. Fischer, a dedicated advocate for education and community service. This scholarship recognizes students who not only excel academically but also contribute positively to their communities. This year's recipients have shown exceptional dedication, both in their academic pursuits and in their commitment to making a difference.


Let’s meet the outstanding scholars:

  1. A J Arroyo - A junior at Texas A&M University, A J is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management.

  2. Olivia Blank - A sophomore at Mary Hardin Baylor, Olivia is working towards a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

  3. Desirae Flessner - A junior at Sam Houston State University, Desirae is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

  4. Morgan Goebel - A junior at Texas A&M University, Morgan is working towards a Bachelor’s in Special Education.

  5. Cason Jander - A junior at Texas A&M University, Cason is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Agriculture Systems Management.

  6. Camden Nall - A senior at Texas State University, Camden is working towards a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.

  7. Hannah Sweatman - A sophomore at Texas A&M University, Hannah is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business.

  8. Kaylee Trevino - A junior at Baylor University, Kaylee is working towards a Bachelor’s in Communications Science and Disorders.

  9. Bailey Tweedle - A sophomore at the University of Texas, Bailey is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.

  10. Allison Zengerle - A sophomore at the University of Texas, Allison is working towards a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology.


These students exemplify the values of hard work, dedication, and community service that the Frederick W. Fischer "Helping Hands" scholarship seeks to promote. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and excited to see the positive impact they will have in their respective fields.
